Regular meetings:  Time:    7-8:15 pm  (1 hour of singing - 15 minutes for treats!)    Where:  Mapleton Community Center

Our Motto:   We’re not trying to make it on Broadway – we just want to have some fun!

What a wonderful Homecoming  this year.  June 12, 2010, rain tried to stop the fun of the Garden Tractor Pull but it went off with out a hitch.  Then June 13 turned out to be just wonderful.   One rain in the morning didn't stop any of the fun so the rain came again about parade time, but the parade went on and fun was had by everyone!!

NO Pets will be allowed in the storm shelters if not in a carrier!! If they are loose or on a leash they will not be allowed.  It causes to much disruption with such a large crowd.  SORRY!

  Mapleton - Timberhill Cemetery

Improvements made at Mapleton - Timberhill Cemetery.  Be sure and check out the new Fencing and the Lighted flag!  There is a new catalog of our Timberhill Cemetery and you will love it.  Every stone in the cemetery is pictured and listed. Catalogs will be sold Benefit of the Cemetery  This is something that has been in the works for a long time and we are so proud of all of out work.   If you know of any Veteran in the Cemetery that doesn't have a flag please let us know.  We try to find all the Veterans, but I am sure we have missed some.

Mapleton Health Equipment Center         Located in Mapleton, Kansas

The Sutterby Family and Jean Shields have a GREAT PLAN. They are giving their Health Equipment such as Hospital Beds - Walkers - Wheel Chairs - Potty Chairs and anything else pertaining to caring for the sick, to Mapleton. It will be stored in the building next to the Post Office. The idea is if you need some equipment, for a short time, for a sick person, you will borrow the equipment from Mapleton Health Equipment Center. You will return the equipment when you are done with it in good clean condition, and hopefully donate more equipment to share. The Council members will have a key to the building so contact any of them and they will let you check out the equipment.
