Downloading means going to the internet and loading onto your computer a program.  This can be very serious business.  First be sure that you want the program before downloading.  Be sure that the site you are working with is reputable.  I always wait until someone in the know tells me this is a good program and where to get it from.  Downloads can have virus, or in other ways be dangerous  If you are asked for a credit card, it is probably best to get out of there.  If you give them your card number, you will see a billing to your account next month and some times every month after that.  I just don't give my credit card over the internet!
